On 22^nd Feb 2012 there is a Off Campus Drive at Vellamall Engg College. Student of DCE are eligible to attend the drive.

Company: Sanmina-SCI visiting their campus to conduct the Campus Drive.

Process:

Written test and personal discussion Only.  – (Aptitude)

Process starts at 8.30 AM in the morning.

The students who are selected will be invited to do their final semester with Sanmina-SCI which will be followed by placement in our organization.

Eligibility Criteria:

·  Engineering Streams: Computer Science, Information Technology

·  Post graduation: M.C.A

·  Academics: A consistent of minimum 77 % or above in S.S.L.C, H.S.C and in all the semester of graduation / post graduation.

·  The students should not have arrears in any of the semesters

·  Good communication skill is an added advantage.

2      Key Responsibilities

     Understand the process and work methodology followed in the department.

     Understanding process flow diagrams and standards applied to satisfy  

     business requirements.

     Tasks can vary from customizing the in-house web application to suit client’s

     processes, branding, demonstration of the process built for the client’s mainly in

     UK, querying databases and / or migrating employee related data.

3      Requirements

     Fresh Graduates in Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Applications or

     fresh Post Graduates in Computer Science / Computer Applications

     Exposure in technical support / product support / maintenance and / or to

     International environment / customers will be an added advantage.

     Excellent communication skills with a neutral accent and clear enunciation

     Excellent logical and problem solving skills.

     Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and SQL / Database

     Querying is a must.

     Not required to code in any programming language, though academic knowledge

     of programming language like C, C++, Java, VB, HTML, Java/VB Scripting is

     preferable.

     Flexibility to work in any shift pattern (including weekends if business demands)

     Ability to work both independently and as a team player with a positive attitude

     Quick adaptability with an openness to learn and develop Customer focus.

     Open to work in General / UK shifts  (UK shift 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM; cab

     drop facility available for those who work in shifts)

    Starting salary will be INR 2.3 L PA and moving up to INR 2.5 L PA on confirmation.
